M3: Multi-Ethnic & Missional Ministry

Your group can make a difference in southwest Michigan and on your return home. Partner with Overflow Church and/or the Overflow Christian Community Development Association (OCCDA) on a short-term mission trip!

Short-Term Missions with Overflow immerses you in the southwest Michigan community and expands your vision for following Jesus and equips you to serve your own community when you return home. Missional experiences are tailored around the passions, skills and abilities of your group, and connect to the needs in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph community. Mission trips can occur year-round.

Built in to Overflow’s DNA is the missional drive to serve our community, and we’re passionate about multiplying that far beyond our own region. ABOUT THE REGION

Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, originally known as the “Twin Cities” are located in the southwest corner of Michigan, both on beautiful Lake Michigan. Divided by a river, the two communities have been deeply divided for many years by economic, racial and cultural differences.

But God is pouring new wine into a new wine skin. We’re watching His healing touch bring a multi-ethnic, multi-economic community together in many ways!
