GOD POURS IN, WE POUR OUT
One look at Jesus’ life and ministry reveals that He radically loved all people and had an amazing ability to meet them right where they were at. As we follow Jesus we too are given the opportunity to love Him and love others through serving and outreach. As you partner with Overflow Church and follow Jesus’ example, you reflect His character in the local community and beyond the U.S. Join us in living out His message by using your time, gifts and resources to make a significant impact for God.
Our outreach efforts to live out Christ’s love is not what we do, but rather who we are. It is life overflowing.
Overflow Church serves the community through multiple efforts, including partnering with local community agencies and developed the Overflow Christian Community Development Association (OCCDA) in 2009, a non-profit organization to bring to the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph region. In doing so, two social businesses were created to support community efforts: Harbor Shine, a lawn care and landscaping business employing youth for the summer and offering a coaching/mentoring program called Youth Shine, and Mosaic Resale and Resource Center, providing hands-on vocational training and retail experience to build a stronger workforce in the community. Currently, the OCCDA and Overflow Church are also working to develop a best practice program that is a community wide partnership with multiple organizations in order to enhance literacy among children in Benton Harbor. GLOBAL OUTREACH
Overflow Church is a church that has a vision to see God’s love transform our region and beyond. From the beginning we have had our eyes on church planting and in 2010 we began partnering with a vibrant, growing church plant in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
We are excited to pray, support, and go to serve and love our brothers and sisters in Honduras as they reach out to their community with the message of Jesus Christ!

CHURCH PLANTING
As we look at how God’s kingdom expands in our world we see that church planting is one of God’s primary vehicles for the spread of the Gospel. Currently we are a part of the West Michigan District of the Wesleyan Church and one of 16 church plants that have been planted since 2000 in West Michigan. Our hope and desire as God leads Overflow Church is to continue the multiplication of the kingdom by planting other churches. Currently we are assisting the work in Honduras and looking forward to what God may have for the future here in the States.
