WEDNESDAY SOUP SUPPER Soup’s On! every Wednesday in the Overflow Café between 6 & 7 PM. It’s free, and all are invited to stop in for soup, crackers and community in the middle of the week. Pastor Carolyn coordinates it. If you’re interested in serving by making a crockpot of soup, please let her know. Contact Carolyn at: admin@overflowchurch.org
Ongoing Ministry Opportunities
Greeters Since God is for all people, Overflow wants to be a welcoming place to everyone. We’d like to know each visitor and attender is greeted warmly at the Sunday Celebrations with real care and real love. Smiling greeters are invited to join the WOW (Warm Overflow Welcome) team. Kathleen Lindsay is the WOW Ministry Director.
Tech Team We use video and audio technology to glorify God to help people see, hear and reinforce weekly messages. If you’re a techie, consider using your talents to enhance the weekly worship experience, and more importantly, build community with those of similar interests within the church body. Scott Sutton is the Tech/Media Ministry Director.
SPLASH Children’s Ministry Overflow relies on men, women and teens who love kids, and utilize their gifts of teaching, serving and administering during the weekly Celebration service… all for one purpose: to let children experience the deep love of their Creator.
- K-5th Grade Craft Coordinator: Plan monthly “themed’ crafts for the K-5th grade levels to match weekly Bible lessons. Training provided.
- K-5th Grade Skit Coordinator: Coordinate short skits for K-5th grade incorporating Bible stories and principles (as-needed basis)
- Registration check in/out volunteer (scheduled twice per month)

Marcom Team Do you have a passion for communicating? Love to write? Maybe you love graphics, and play in the Adobe Creative Suite world? How about HTML, WordPress, social media spaces? If you believe it’s important to “speak” the language of Overflow guests, develop graphics and words that resonate with him/her and provide emotional connections to their world, then God might be calling you to the marketing/communication team. Kathy Craig is the Marcom Director.
